Mabel & Moose: Refund & Replacement Policy

At Mabel & Moose, every single item is made-to-order especially for you. We do not hold inventory or resell used items. Because of this, our return policy is a little different from a standard big-box store.

The "Happiness Guarantee" (Damaged or Defective Items) We want you to love your order. Please inspect your order upon reception. If your item arrives defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, we will make it right immediately.

You do not need to return the damaged item to us. Simply email us at studio@mabelandmoose.com with:

  1. Your Order Number
  2. A clear photo of the damage or printing error.

We will send you a free replacement or issue a full refund—whichever you prefer.

Change of Mind & Sizing Because every product is printed specifically for you when you order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong size ordered.

We create a unique piece for every customer, which helps us reduce waste and operate sustainably. We provide detailed size charts on every product page—please check these carefully before ordering.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Custom Products: Any item personalized with a name (e.g., "Lola & Bear") is final sale and cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
  • Digital Downloads: All artwork downloads are final sale and non-refundable.

European Union 14 day cooling off period If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you generally have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days. However, under EU law, this right does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized. As all Mabel & Moose apparel and art prints are made-to-order, they fall under this exception. Defective items will, of course, be replaced or refunded in accordance with consumer law.

Refunds If a refund is approved (for a damaged or missing item), you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
